Childrens Ministry

Wildwind's Children’s Ministry uses a high quality interactive program from Group Publishers called Hands-On Bible Curriculum. This curriculum engages children at both upper and lower grade levels by connecting eternal truths with everyday symbols much like Jesus did in His teachings. Children become a part of the Bible story by participating in activities which allow them to handle fun teaching tools and gizmos. The hands-on activities prompt interactive discussion and personal reflection, offering kids the opportunity to really connect each Bible lesson to their own lives.

Because Wildwind believes that smaller groups are the key to personal growth, every Sunday our children meet in fellowship-focused small groups led by caring adult leaders. We offer three different groups which allow children in kindergarten – first grade, second – third grade, and fourth – fifth grade to become connected on their own level.

For the LITTLE ones. . .
Our nursery is stocked with brand new high-quality toys for your baby to enjoy. You can leave your baby with us knowing there will be excellent supervision, attention to security, and a nurturing environment. Feel free to keep your baby in the nursery right until church is finished.

We also have a fun-filled preschool program where 3 and 4 year-olds can interact while learning lessons that follow along with the older children’s curriculum.

For parents

  • I have children older than fifth grade. What does Wildwind have for them?
We have a teen program for those in grades 6-12. It is led by passionate and well-trained adult volunteers. Teen services are Sunday mornings at the same time as the adult service. Everyone begins in the auditorium, then we dismiss teens and children to go to their programs.

There are monthly social events for both high school and middle school. In addition, there is a small group for high schoolers which meets on Sunday evenings. There is currently no middle school small group.
