E-list policy

There are two types of lists on our list signup page.  Below is an explanation of how we will and will not use our lists.

Wildwind's official e-list is used for church informational updates, event and activity notices, and spiritual challenges.  Email goes out on this list quite regularly.  You can expect 4-12 emails/month on average.

Our text notification list is used to inform people only in the event of a time-sensitive emergency, such as a service cancellation or relocation.  Since this list is used for emergencies, you will receive very few messages this way.

If we use the e-list to attempt to sell you anything, it will be directly related to our ministry and we will explain the connection clearly.

We will not use the e-list to spread information on behalf of specific attendees of Wildwind or as a general way of helping Wildwind's people communicate with one another.

We will not normally use the list to "keep you posted" on the condition of specific individuals in the church, except in some cases we have predetermined before a note goes out.  We will use our judgment about when this is needed and when we are able to do this.

The e-list will not be used for prayer requests.  Prayer requests are to go directly to small groups.  If you have a request but are not in a small group, you may use the Contact Us button at the top of the page and email them to the office.

If you have had a death in your immediate family, we ask that you send information to us ASAP to send out on the e-list. Please email us with the following information:

a. When the death occurred
b. Full name of deceased and relationship to you
c. Visitation arrangements, including times, and name and location for visitation and funeral
